THE 5 STAR SEE AND DO IT ALL TRIP - TREE COUNTRIES IN 8 DAYS AND SHOWING YOU THE BEST OF SOUTHERN AFRICA

Mozambique - Phalaborwa Investment Opportunity

SA RAND 15.900 PR PERSON IN DOUBLE ROOM + AIRFARE

DAY 1+2 ***

Arrive at Phalaborwa airport and let us go to the Kruger National Park via the Phalaborwa gate.  Game viewing will ensue until we reach Letaba Camp.  This camp is well renowned for sightings of Leopard although this is not a guarantee; the chances are good that they will be spotted as we do our drives through exclusive areas. We always try to get the BIG 5 and on our Safari, the chances are good.

Letaba Camp offers an Elephant Museum, a swimming pool, restaurant and very well stocked supermarket where all supplies can be bought including beautiful curios for old and young. We will spend two full days here.

DAY 3. ***

Early start out of Letaba Camp to the Giriyondo Border Post, which is where we leave South Africa behind, and head into Mozambique.  This trip will be entirely on dirt roads where animals are also to be viewed alongside the changes in vegetation.

Our destination is the Limpopo Great Transfrontier Park where we will be staying over in luxury tents on the Machampane River, hence the name of the camp. Machampane Luxury Wilderness Camp.  Elephants, Crocodile and Hippos are but a few of the animals that will be viewed from your own personal deck area overlooking the river.

This is a total wilderness area, which runs through and between the Limpopo, Olifants, and the mighty Shingwedzi Rivers through the heart of the Lebombo Mountains.

Travelling through this area is where you will experience the absolute essence of wild Africa.  The Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park is a 3.3million hectare area, which encompasses the Kruger national Park (South Africa), Limpopo (Mozambique), and Gonerezhou (Zimbabwe) National Parks.

DAYS 4+5 ***

Travelling on from Machampane Wilderness Camp, we journey on to Praia do Bilene and Tenda Tora Lodge, which is where our accommodation is situated.  The units consist of two double bedrooms (double beds or single as requested by you), air conditioners, Living area, Bathroom + Toilet, Kitchen and a barbecue area outside.

Each unit has its own private splash pool where sundowners can be enjoyed while looking out onto the stunning views of the Lagoon.

Praia do Bilene offers a vast array of beach restaurants and pubs where the most delicious seafood is served, although other foods are also on offer.  You can stroll along the market place, which offers basic items for sale, the majority of which are curios.  Fresh fruit and vegetables are in abundance and are really worth trying if you want to make yourself a good healthy or vegetarian meal!  Gas stations are also to be found and stocked with the necessities.  All this is accessible within an easy 5-minute walk from Tenda Tora Lodge.

ACTIVITIES:

Scuba diving; Snorkelling; Canoeing; Deep-sea fishing.

During July to November, trips can be organised to dive with the Whale Sharks and Leather Back Turtles.  The Turtles are in an eco area of Bilene and really are an experience to see as these are on the endangered species list.

Beach pubs are open until late and during the weekends, there is a club and disco open.

N.B. All activities are optional extras and the cost will be up to the individual.

DAY 6 ***

We are leaving in the morning to drive true Maputo before going in to Swaziland and the Royal Halane Game Park where we stay the night.

We will also do some Game drives and walks in this park, and have a look on Tribel Life.

DAY 7+8 ***

Depart Halane Swaziland and head to Nelspruit and then on to Hoedspruit and Tsukudu on the way we will stop at The Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyview for another fabulous African Experience.

We stay two night at Tshukudu Game Lodge where you will be able to walk alongside tame Cheetah, Elephant and more.  These wild animals have all been rehabilitated and the majority are released back into the wild.

Night drives will be arranged after a leisurely dinner cooked and enjoyed outside by African Chefs.

Tshukudu Game Lodge in Limpopo near the Kruger National Park combines home comfort with an exciting Big 5 safari experience in Southern Africa; close encounters with our wildlife and our focus on the rehabilitation of orphaned animals along with excellent viewing opportunities of the wild animals in their natural habitat.

The game lodge, the animals and the people have become part of the lives of our returning guests. With each visit, they experience more and enjoy more than ever before, the ambience of this privately run lodge.

Since 1980 the Sussens family has successfully turned a run-down cattle farm located in Hoedspruit, Limpopo Province of South Africa into a thriving 5 000 hectare big 5 safari & wildlife paradise in Southern Africa.

The first animal to ever be re-introduced to the ex cattle farm was a rhino hence the Sotho equivalent word Tshukudu.

As a special goodbye bonus to you, our valued clients, we will be taking you for an experience of a lifetime – Being able to touch, feed and interact with Jessica, the tame Hippo!  Wonderful photo’s can be taken as well as hearing the story behind how Jessica came to be where she is and how her adoptive “parents” came to love this beautiful girl!!

DAY 9 ***

Back to Gateway Airport where you board your flight and we bid you a fond farewell and a big thank you for your hospitable company…………….until next time! Because you will be back, that is a fact.
